Today we met up with Grandma and Grandpa Speral and Olivia and Drew for the NDSU homecoming parade. Arie loved it!

Grandma and Grandpa Roberts came to Fargo this weekend to visit and brought Arie's baby cousin Graham along. We had such a great time spending time with them, we went to a Fall Festival where we decorated pumpkins, cookies, made a hat out of a paper bag, saw horses, goats and bunnies and went to the pumpkin patch! It was a beautiful day and fun was had by all!

Wow, it is August already! Were did the summer go? It seems like it just got started and we are already feeling like it is ending. We have had a great summer, we have played in the backyard a lot, went swimming and camping. Arie is a serious water bug, she just can't get enough of the water! We are looking forward to these last few weekends that we have this summer, here is a little picture re-cap of our summer! From camping, going to the zoo, playing in the back yard, 4th of July fun to bike rides and swimming!

Independence Day

We had a great 4th of July weekend in Fargo. Although Joel called us "no lake losers" I think we had a great weekend at home. We spent most of our time outside as it was a BEAUTIFUL weekend. Friday we picked Arie up from daycare early and went to Coldstone for ice cream-Birthday Cake Remix....YUMMY!

Saturday Joel and his dad went golfing out of town so Arie and I spent the morning with Grandma Lynn at the Red Rive Zoo-Arie LOVES the zoo and all the animals, she calls most of them "puppies" and loved to pet the baby goats in the petting zoo and feed the beautiful peacocks her goldfish. We took the bike trailer out Saturday afternoon for a little spin, Arie is finally starting to warm up to it. Saturday night we set up the water stuff in the backyard and Arie got her suit on and played while Joel and I sipped on some Summer Shandy and watched her splash around, we grilled and enjoyed a gorgeous evening.

Sunday we had a pool party in the backyard again and then grilled over at Mark and Lynn's, with Mark at the grill it is always a yummy and good night! Arie spent the night at G&G's house, and Joel and I relaxed on the patio and then watched a movie.

Monday the 4th was here before we knew it, we spent the day at our good friends pool and soaked up some more sun and relaxation! Again that evening we had some bad holiday weather and spent some time all cuddled up in the basement while the sirens ran, the lightning was amazing that night, it was our "firework" show. At least this time we didn't loose power for 3 days! Hopefully everyone had a great 4th of July as well and got to spend lots of time with family and friends.

Newest arrival to the Roberts family!

Graham Marc Roberts finally made his arrival on Monday June 6th, at 7:21 pm. He is 7lbs 8 oz and 20 1/4 inches long, he is a little mini me to his proud papa. He is so cute and perfect, I have yet to meet him in person and can't stand how excited I am to hold him. Arie is going to be a great "big" cousin to Graham, we love him so much already!

Zoo

It was such a beautiful day today, we decided to take Arie to the zoo after her nap today. She LOVED it, it was so fun to watch her see all of the animals for the 1st time. She called all of them "puppies " and clapped for all of them.
