Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday ringing in the new year with loved ones!
SO many exciting things to come in 2010, cannot wait!

Our New Years Eve recap: Santa Lucia pizza, rented a movie and cuddled with the dogs on the couch, me falling asleep on the couch sometime during the movie and waking up at 12:30-oops! Joel rang in the new year playing his PS3 until I woke up, he said "Happy New Year" and I said "i've gotta go to bed" hahah not so exciting when you are 5 month pregnant!

Christmas in a flash!

Well it is amazing how fast Christmas came and went already! It is always a whirlwind of wrapping paper, food, family and fun. This year we were planning on spending Christmas Eve in Brainerd and Christmas day in Fargo but with the Christmas blizzard we changed plans and bunnkered down in Fargo. We enjoyed spending time with the Speral's and watching the kids open their stockings and gifts, it is so fun to see Christmas through their eyes, it brings so much joy, we cannot wait for next year when we will be celebrating with our daughter! We missed the Robert's but will be going there in January to celebrate-more food and gifts! We also got to spend some time with some great friends and catch up, we miss them all the time and cannot for them to move back to Fargo! We hope that everyone had a safe and wonderful Christmas!

Pretty in Pink

Pink Pink Pink! Is what we are seeing! My parents came to Fargo this weekend and we painted the nursery! And by we I mean my mom and Joel painted the nursery! We painted it brown with a pink stripe on 3 of the walls and then did a solid pink wall, it is adorable and so sweet. I'm sure this little girl is going to love it! We were so excited that the crib was delivered 2 days early and came so we could set it up the same day we were painting, there were no profanities during assembly-it went smoothly and came in 5 pieces, nice and easy for mommy and daddy to put together! We have only purchased a crib so far so the room looks a little bare-I can't wait to fill it up! Here is a little peak at the room! Grandma Lynn made the bedding-it is the cutest thing I have ever seen! What a sweet little room this little girl is going to have!

It's a GIRL!

We had our ultrasound on December 9th, we found out that we are having a little girl! We were both totally shocked, we thought this whole time there was no doubt that it was a boy. We are thrilled that she is doing great, healthy and very very active! She did not sit still once during the ultrasound, she was wiggeling and moving all over the place. Here are a few of the ultrasound pictures we got to take home with us! We cannot wait to meet her this spring!

Candy Land

We made gingerbread houses with my niece Olivia! It is a Speral family tradition and I was excited to make my first...one that I could remember! We had a great day baking, frosting, decorating and EATING of course! I think Olivia ate just about one of every piece of candy that we had! She was a great helper! It was so much fun, I can't wait to continue the tradition next year with our daughter! Add Image
